Police are in possession of video footage showing Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice striking his fiancee and knocking her unconscious, SI.com reported Thursday.

Rice and fiancee Janay Palmer were both arrested early Saturday morning following an altercation at a casino, according to Atlantic City, N.J., police.

A summons issued in Atlantic City Municipal Court on Wednesday said Rice "struck Janay Palmer (his fiancee) with his hand, rendering her unconscious"

TMZ.com released a videotape Wednesday that shows a man removing an unconscious woman from an elevator. Rice's attorney acknowledged that it was his client in the video, but he said the footage was incomplete.

According to SI.com, police have additional footage that shows Rice knocking out Palmer.

Rice, 27, and Palmer, 26, both were charged with simple assault-domestic violence, and they were released with a summons to appear in court.

Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said Monday that Rice remains in the team's plans.

Rice recently completed the second year of a five-year, $35 million contract. He finished 2013 with 214 carries for 660 yards and four touchdowns, his lowest figures in all three categories since he was a rookie in 2008.

The running back never previously ran afoul of the NFL's personal-conduct policy, which grants commissioner Roger Goodell the power to fine or suspend players for malfeasance.
