New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will delay surgery on his broken left forearm for a few more weeks to ensure that the infection has cleared out, according to The Boston Herald's Karen Guregian. Gronkowski will continue taking antibiotics, but still plans to have surgery to install a new plate in his forearm. "Gonna hold off for a few weeks to make sure infection gone before going back in," a source told the Herald. Recovery from this type of surgery is expected to take 10 weeks, allowing him plenty of time to get ready for the regular season.
