Report: Nets, Bobcats discuss possible Humphries-Gordon trade

The New Jersey Nets and Charlotte Bobcats have talked about a possible trade in which Bobcats guard Ben Gordon would go to Brooklyn in exchange for forward Kris Humphries, reported Friday.
No trade is imminent, however, according to the report.
The Nets need outside shooting, which is why they are interested in Gordon, who is averaging 13.1 points per game and hitting 41.7 percent of his three- shots this season.
The Bobcats have plenty of guards, but need help in the frontcourt. Humphries is averaging 6.0 points and 6.4 rebounds this season.
Gordon and Humphries both make $12 million a year, so the financial impact is the same
