The SportsXchange

The NCAA has been investigating three of UCLA's highly touted freshman basketball players, CBSSports.com reported Sunday.

UCLA's incoming class was ranked as the nation's best by some recruiting analysts, but the Shabazz Muhammad, Kyle Anderson and Tony Parker have been the subject of probes by the NCAA the past few months, according to the report.

The NCAA is interested in connections between Muhammad's family and financial advisers Benjamin Lincoln and Ken Kavanagh.

Muhammad was not allowed to play on the Bruins' recent trip to China, but Anderson and Parker were cleared to play.

The NCAA is investigating the relationship between Anderson and agent Thad Foucher, who works for Arn Tellem and the Wasserman Group, according to CBSSports.com. The NCAA is also looking into whether Parker's family received improper benefits.
