Report: Maynor agrees to deal with Wizards

Guard Eric Maynor has a agreed to a multiyear deal with the Washington Wizards, Michael Lee of the Washington Post reported Monday.

Terms of the contract are not yet known.

Maynor played just 27 games for the Portland Trail Blazers last season, averaging 6.9 points and 4.0 assists. He missed the early part of the 2012-2013 season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered in January 2012 while a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With Washington, Maynor is expected to serve as John Wall's backup at point guard.
