Some very serious charges emerged Thursday involving an Indiana football player.

According to the Muncie Star Press, Kiante Enis, a true freshman, was arrested on two counts of child molesting. Randolph County (Indiana) Police said the 19-year-old Enis admitted in an interview “to a consensual sexual encounter that occurred on at least two occasions.” The encounters are said to have involved “a child 13 years or younger.”

Enis was arrested Thursday and booked into Randolph County jail. He is being held on $20,000 bond. Child molesting is a Level 3 felony in Indiana.

Enis, a three-star recruit in the 2016 class, rushed for 2,393 yards and 35 touchdowns as a senior at Winchester Community High School. He initially verbally committed to Michigan, but ended up signing with the in-state Hoosiers.

He has not appeared in a game for IU this season. Kevin Wilson said earlier this week that Enis, who is listed as a wide receiver on IU’s roster, has been dealing with a concussion, per the Indianapolis Star.

Indiana (2-0) faces Wake Forest at home on Saturday.
