Raiders cut CB Van Dyke, sign Hanson

According to Tim Twentyman of detroitlions.com, Jason Hanson has won the Lions' PK competition with rookie PK Derek Dimke, who is expected to be released Monday.

Hanson, 42, will be the Lions' placekicker for a 21st season in 2012. He is the franchise's all-time leader in points scored, field goals and extra points.

Twentyman reports that the Lions told nine other players that they are expected to be released Monday. Those players include FB James Bryant, WR Jarett Dillard, RB Stephfon Green, S Sean Jones, OG Jacques McClendon, LB Slade Norris, OG J.C. Oram, DT Bobby Skinner and WR Terrence Toliver.
