Jeff Roberts of The Bergen Record reports that veteran Giants ORT Kareem McKenzie has been informed that his time with the Giants has come to an end. With the 32-year-old McKenzie approaching free agency, the team has reportedly told McKenzie to "go shopping" for another team. The Giants released Rich Seubert and Shaun O'Hara before the 2011 season, and with McKenzie now heading out of town, only two starters remain from their Super Bowl XLII-winning — Chris Snee and David Diehl.
McKenzie has spent the last seven seasons with Big Blue, including the Giants' 2007 and 2011 Super Bowl-winning campaigns. Before that, he spent his first four seasons with the Jets. He has started every game he has participated in since his rookie season, and has started 11 playoff games in his career.
