Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney was bilked out of millions of dollars by two financial advisors who were arrested last week in an embezzlement scheme, according to TMZ.com.

The report says Michael Stern and Eva Weinberg were arrested last week in the matter. Stern, a financial advisor at Bank of America, controlled several of Freeney's accounts, according to TMZ, and Freeney met Weinberg through Stern.

A federal investigation claims that the two took approximately $2.2 million from Freeney between May 2010 and October 2011, and used Freeney's money for such items as expensive sunglasses and stays at luxury hotels. It alleged there were even plans to purchase a private jet for $1.5 million.
