Report: Donvan, Galaxy agree to deal

Landon Donovan has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Galaxy, according to SI.com.

Donovan, who is in the final year of his current contract, needs four goals to become the all-time leading scorer in Major League Soccer. Despite beginning the MLS season late, Donovan is second on the Galaxy with seven goals this season to go along with seven assists.

Donovan is also expected to be named to the U.S. World Cup qualifying team next month.
