Report: Cowboys' Randy Gregory facing one-year NFL suspension
Randy Gregory’s NFL career may be over before it ever really started.
The 2015 Dallas Cowboys draft pick, already suspended 14 games this season for violations of the league’s substance-abuse policy, is reportedly facing a year-long suspension for another drug test failure.
That’s according to NFL Network reporters Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
Gregory was eligible to come back next month – he was suspended for the first four games of this season for one violation, then the next 10 for a second, meaning he would have been able to return for the final couple games of this season and a possible playoff push – but under the guidelines set forth in the collective bargaining agreement, a third violation results in a year-long suspension.

In a statement, the NFL said, “The league has not been notified of any new violations.”
Gregory was the 60th overall pick in the 2015 draft. He played in 12 games last season, with no starts, and was credited with 11 total tackles.
