Report: Browns to try out QB Hanie

The Cleveland Browns plan to try out quarterback Caleb Hanie on Tuesday, according to ESPNCleveland.com.

Although Brandon Weeden is expected to start this Sunday against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars, the Browns are not sure if Jason Campbell will be recovered from a concussion.

Campbell was injured during Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers when he was decked by a blind-side blitz from cornerback William Gay. He threw for 124 yards and lost a fumble. He was replaced by Weeden.

Hanie spent time in training camp with the Baltimore Ravens before getting cut. His longest NFL stint was in 2011, when he went 0-4 as the Chicago Bears' starter.
