Arizona freshman forward Aaron Gordon and junior guard Nick Johnson declared for the NBA Draft on Tuesday, the school confirmed.

The 6-foot-9 Gordon, just 18, averaged 12.4 points and eight rebounds in 31.2 minutes per game last season and is considered a high lottery pick. He was named All-Pac-12 first team.

Johnson, an All-American and the Pac-12 Player of the Year, led the Wildcats in scoring at 16.3 points per game last season and is expected to be taken in the second round of the June 26 draft.

"He's made a meteoric improvement across the board in his time at Arizona, and that stems from his unbelievable attitude," Arizona coach Sean Miller said. "Nick, his family and our staff came together and we think it's appropriate that he moves on to the next level.

"When you're a first-team All-American, it speaks volumes to your talent. He leaves Arizona with my complete support and I have no doubt that he's going to be successful at the next level."

Freshman forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, 7-foot sophomore center Kaleb Tarczewski and Brandon Ashley also considered a jump but announced that they will return to Arizona next season.

Arizona, a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, went 33-5 and reached the regional finals.
