Report: Alabama WR hospitalized after fight

Alabama wide receiver DeAndrew White was hospitalized overnight after apparently sustaining a concussion during an altercation early Thursday morning near the Alabama campus, the Birmingham News reported.

University police apprehended two men -- Ryan Javaris Hamilton, 22, and Quamayne Rakesh Tolbert, 22 -- for firing handguns in the air during the altercation, allegedly to disperse the crowd, the News reported.

There has been no comment from Alabama officials yet, and no details as to how White sustained his injuries.

White caught 14 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns last season as a redshirt freshman.
