49ers OLB Aldon Smith is recovering from reportedly being stabbed at a house party near San Jose, Calif. on Saturday morning.
According to The Sacramento Bee, there were two people wounded from gunshots and one was stabbed at the party, and Smith was the player stabbed.

Per the report, 49ers GM Trent Baalke released the following statement:
“The San Francisco 49ers are aware that Aldon Smith incurred minor injuries during an incident last night. We are in contact with Aldon, and thankful that his injuries were not more serious and that he is recovering comfortably. The 49ers are also in communication with local authorities as they gather information regarding the incident, and will reserve future comment at this time.”
Smith was the seventh overall pick in the 2011 draft. As a rookie, he had 14 sacks and won the Pro Football Weekly/Pro Football Writers of America Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
