Safety Ed Reed took out a full-page ad Sunday in the Baltimore Sun to say goodbye and thank you to Ravens fans.
Reed signed a three-year, $15 million free-agent contract Friday with the Houston Texans after 11 seasons in Baltimore.
"I will forever cherish my time with the Ravens and the chills that ran down my spine when I finally kissed the Lombardi Trophy," Reed said in the ad. "This is not a goodbye, but a See You Soon."
After the Ravens won the Super Bowl in February, they suffered key losses that include Reed, safety Bernard Pollard, linebacker Ray Lewis, wide receiver Anquan Boldin, linebackers Paul Kruger and Dannell Ellerbee and cornerback Cary Williams.
