Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter against the Baltimore Ravens with a right injury, the Redskins announced.

Griffin hurt the knee on a sack. After leaving the game briefly, he returned but left again. Backup Kirk Cousins replaced him.

Cousins tossed an 11-yard touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon with 29 seconds remaining. Cousins ran in a 2-point conversion to tie the game 28-28. The game went to overtime.

Griffin said afterward he does not believe he tore his anterior-cruciate ligament.

"I know what an ACL feels like," Griffin said, according to multiple reports

Coach Mike Shanahan said that Griffin will have an MRI.
