Brock Holt is back in the leadoff spot Tuesday night, with Mookie Betts dropping to second in the order.
The Mookie Betts Leadoff Experience is, at least for now, over after just one game, with Brock Holt taking over the leadoff spot again and Betts moving to second.

Why the change after a game where Betts was an active participant in two of Boston's three runs? Only John Farrell knows for certain, but given that this is also just the second time Betts is hitting second, it's entirely possible Farrell is just feeling out where he likes his rookie best in preparation for a starting gig in 2015. He's certainly doing his best to earn the privilege in these final weeks.
On the mound, Joe Kelly will be trying to establish a positive trend that his last couple of outings have hinted at. He's allowed just two runs in his last eleven innings after a four-inning, seven-run explosion against Houston. And while the peripherals are still not great, they're certainly headed in the right direction compared to his numbers in his first three starts with Boston.
First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. ET with broadcasts on NESN, WEEI, and the MLB Network.
