Rays 2, Giants 1 (10)

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Wil Myers drove a 0-1 pitch from San Francisco reliever Jean Machi into left field to score Desmond Jennings with the winning run in the 10th inning as the Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Giants 2-1 on Saturday night.

Jennings had walked, stolen second base and advanced to third as Machi intentionally walked Ben Zobrist and walked Evan Longoria to load the bases.

Fernando Rodney (4-2) pitched the 10th for the win. Machi (2-1) took the loss.

The Giants scored first when Brandon Crawford drove in Jeff Francoeur with a single in the third inning.

The Rays answered in the bottom of the inning when Jose Molina walked, advanced to second on a wild pitch, reached third on Kelly Johnson's infield hit and scored when Zobrist bounced into a fielder's choice.
