The Baltimore Ravens found $2.8 million worth of cap room by restructuring the contract of guard Marshal Yanda, the Carroll County Times reported.
Yanda, a Pro Bowl player, was originally scheduled to have a cap figure of $6.5 million in 2012, but lowered that figure to $3.65 million with the reworking of his contract.
The move helped the Ravens to sign defensive tackle Ryan McBean, receiver Jacoby Jones and to extend safety Bernard Pollard, while still leaving Baltimore with just over $3.5 million in cap space.
