Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list and will miss at least the first six weeks of the season.
Suggs has yet to return to the field as he continues to recover from Achilles surgery. He will now miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season. Baltimore will then have three weeks to activate Suggs or place him on season-ending injured reserve.
Wide receiver David Reed (knee) was also placed on the Reserve/PUP list as the Ravens trimmed their roster to Monday's 75-player limit.
Safety Emanuel Cook, defensive tackle Ryan McBean and linebackers Stevie Baggs and Darryl Blackstock were placed on season-ending injured reserve.
