What's buzzing:

Ravens may be without LB Lewis, CB Webb for a while

The SportsXchange

The Baltimore Ravens are 5-1 after beating the Cowboys on Sunday, but the Ravens' defense took a hit in that game because cornerback Lardarius Webb and linebacker Ray Lewis sustained injuries that could sideline them for a while.

Webb apparently sustained a torn-anterior cruciate ligament that will sideline him for the season, according to NFL.com, and the Ravens also fear that Lewis suffered a torn triceps.

Both players are scheduled to undergo MRI exams on Monday to confirm the severity of the injuries.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said after Sunday's 31-29 win that Webb is probably out for the rest of the season.

Lewis sat out the final few drives of Sunday's game, and any injury that keeps Lewis out of the critical stages of a close game has to be significant.
