Ravens, Justin Tucker agree to contract extension
Looks like Justin Tucker doesn’t have to worry about playing for a different team for the 2017 season.
The kicker and Baltimore Ravens have come to terms on a four-year contract extension, just before Friday’s deadline for teams to sign franchise players to new contracts.
The Ravens announced the deal via Twitter:
We have agreed to terms on a new four-year deal with kicker Justin Tucker.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports it is a four-year, $16.8 million deal, with $10.8 million fully guaranteed. That includes a $6 million signing bonus.
In terms of guaranteed money, that’s more than the $10.1 million New England Patriots All-Pro Stephen Gostkowski got last year, but when it comes to average annual value, Gostkowski holds a slight edge over Tucker, $4.3 million to $4.25 million.
On Thursday, Tucker’s agent told ESPN that his client was “disillusioned” with the contract discussion process with Baltimore and would seek to play elsewhere in 2017 if he had to play that season under the franchise tag.
