Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome was taken to a local hospital in an ambulance following Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
The Ravens released a brief statement Sunday night.
"Ozzie Newsome did not feel well after today's game and a team doctor recommended that Ozzie not fly tonight," the statement read.
Newsome began working in scouting and personnel in 1991 and joined the Ravens in 1996.
Newsome, 57, was an NFL tight end with the Cleveland Browns. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994.
