The stage is set in Baltimore for an AFC North rivalry matchup under the primetime lights. For the Ravens, a victory adds to the momentum they’re building as they enter the latter half of the season at 1st in the North. For the Browns, this is their only primetime game this season. The Browns are playing in a city that won the NBA Finals and won the MLB American League, and dropping an 0-16 record would simultaneously be the most and least Cleveland thing the Browns could do.

After this Ravens game, the Browns play the Steelers, Giants, Bengals, Bills, Chargers and Steelers– all teams that have playoff caliber talent. Fans and analysts have been laughing off the prospect of 0-16 for this Cleveland team all season simply because how unlikely it is that a team lose all 16 games, but if you look at the rest of their schedule this is their best chance.

They were supposed to get the win against a terrible Jets team, but they only played one half of good football and let the game slip away. They don’t have the talent in the secondary to defeat passing teams like the Steelers or Giants, and the Bills and Chargers are too versatile for the Browns defense to stand up against. Like it or not, this Ravens game is the best chance the Browns have to win.

The Baltimore Ravens started the season 3-0 before dropping 4 straight to fall to 3-4. They picked up a win last week against a Steelers team led by a wounded Ben Roethlisberger. The Ravens have a terrible offense, held up by an aging receiving presence in Steve Smith and Mike Wallace. The Browns have one of the league’s worst defenses, so bad that the newly acquired Jamie Collins is easily their best player on defense despite only being on the team for two weeks.
