The Pittsburgh defense had no answer for Torrey Smith as he led the way to a narrow victory for the Ravens over the Steelers, 22-20, at home.
Joe Flacco completed the game 24 for 35 with 251 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. In comparison, Ben Roethlisberger went 28 of 44 with 257 yards passing, two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Steelers.
Ray Rice rushed for 32 yards on 12 carries in addition to six receptions for 38 yards. Smith was a weapon for the offense, catching six passes for 93 yards with a touchdown.
The Baltimore defense surrendered 72 yards rushing and 257 passing.
Finally, Justin Tucker was perfect, making all five of the field goals he attempted.
Steelers tight end Heath Miller gave a standout effort with 86 receiving yards. Running back Le'Veon Bell also had a noteworthy performance with 73 rushing yards, 63 receiving and one touchdown.
The Ravens will play host to the Vikings (2-8) next week while the Steelers play against the Dolphins (5-6), also at home.
