Rashard Mendenhall: Knee Holds Up Fine

Rotowire.com
Update: Coach Mike Tomlin noted Monday that Mendenhall (knee) came out of Sunday's game against the Eagles fine, Ed Bouchette of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Recommendation: Of the three key players the Steelers welcomed back in Week 5, apparently Mendenhall is the most unscathed. Meanwhile, James Harrison has a little swelling in his knee and Troy Polamalu aggravated his calf injury Sunday. In any case, Mendenhall's 5.8 yards per carry (on 14 rushes for 81 yards) Sunday were a nice spark for the Steelers' run game and we'd expect him to see added snaps (he saw 22 on Sunday) come Thursday against the Titans, assuming that no issues crop up with his surgically-repaired knee before then.
