Recommendation: Coach Bruce Arians termed Mendenhall an "everyday" player, namely one that is effective as a runner, receiver, and pass protector. Mendenhall's 2012 campaign was marred by Achilles tendinitis, which followed offseason knee surgery to repair an ACL tear. However, with two seasons of 1,000 yards rushing under his belt, he has now established himself as the top back in front of holdover Ryan Williams, along with incoming rookies Stepfan Taylor and Andre Ellington.
