Cornerback Trumaine Johnson of the St. Louis Rams was arrested in Missoula, Mont., early Friday on a misdemeanor DUI charge, according to KPAX television station in Missoula.
The 23-year-old Johnson was booked into the Missoula county jail at 3:05 a.m. and released after posting a $700 bond about an hour later, according to the station.
Johnson, selected by the Rams in the third round of the draft last year out of Montana, played in all 16 games and started three as a rookie.
He had 31 tackles and two interceptions, finishing the season as the nickel back behind starters Jasnoris Jenkins and Cortland Finnegan.
While at Montana, Johnson was arrested, tased and charged with obstructing a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest during a post-game incident in which alcohol was involved.
