Rams C Wells has knee surgery

St. Louis Rams center Scott Wells had arthroscopic knee surgery earlier this month to repair torn cartilage, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Wells was injured in practice in November after he returned from foot surgery. He made it through the final six games of the regular season. It is the same knee Wells had surgery on last spring.

It is not clear how long Wells will need to recover. The Rams start their offseason program in April.
