Rajon Rondo: Goes off for Career-High 44 Points in Game 2 Loss

Rotowire.com
Update: Rondo scored a career-high 44 points (16-24 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 10-12 FT) in the Celtics' Game 2 overtime loss at Miami on Wednesday. He was also just two rebounds shy of another triple-double, finishing with eight boards, and 10 assists.

Recommendation: Rondo came out blazing on Wednesday, scoring 22 first-half points before Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra put LeBron James on him in the third quarter, slowing him down some. Rondo was hitting from all over the court, and even the free-throw line, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to get the win.
