Raiders trade Terrelle Pryor to Seahawks

National Football Post

The Oakland Raiders have traded former starting quarterback Terrelle Pryor to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick, the Seahawks announced.

“Terrelle is an incredibly explosive athlete and we’re excited for him to come in and compete,” Seahawks general manager John Schneider said.

The Raiders traded for Matt Schaub earlier this offseason and have already named him the starter.

In addition, Matt McGloin has been determined to be the team's backup.

Pryor opened the season as the Raiders' starter, beating out Matt Flynn in training camp. He threw for 1,798 yards, but had seven touchdowns against 11 interceptions.

Pryor was originally drafted by the Raiders as a third-round pick in the 2011 supplemental draft.

He has passed for 1,953 career yards, nine touchdowns, 12 interceptions and a 69.3 passer rating. He also rushed 93 times for 627 yards for a 6.7 average with three touchdowns, with a long of 93 yards for a touchdown. He has one reception for 22 yards.
