quarterback Terrelle Pryor
is out for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins
, according to multiple reports.
Pryor, who sustained a concussion Monday against the Denver Broncos
, was medically cleared to play later in the week. However, Fox Sports reported that Pryor's concussion symptoms resurfaced Saturday night.
The NFL Network reported Sunday morning that Matt Flynn
will start at quarterback for the Raiders.
It was also reported last week that the NFL Players' Association was investigating how the Raiders handled Pryor's concussion. The NFL said the team properly followed the league's mandated protocol.
Pryor practiced on a limited basis Thursday and was officially cleared to play Friday. Pryor said he felt "100 percent," and was listed on the team's injury report as questionable.
