An impressive starting debut earned quarterback Matt McGloin another chance to lead the Oakland Raiders.

The undrafted rookie out of Penn State will start for Oakland in Sunday's home game against the Tennessee Titans, coach Dennis Allen announced Wednesday.

Last Sunday, McGloin threw three touchdown passes and no interceptions while guiding the Raiders to a 28-23 win over the Texans in Houston. McGloin completed 18 of 32 passes for 197 yards.

"If you go out and you perform and you make plays, you get opportunities to continue to go out and perform and make plays," Allen said. "Matt did that last week. He's going to get another opportunity this week. We'll see how it goes."

McGloin received last week's start when Terrelle Pryor was sidelined due to a sprained right knee. Pryor was a limited practice participant Wednesday. If healthy, Pryor could see action Sunday off the bench in read-option situations, Allen said.

"I am not frustrated," Pryor said. "It's just a game. Other guys play well ... You get hurt, other guys play well, why not keep continuing with it?

"I don't blame Coach (Alen). I'm a team player. I hope Matt has a lot of success ... Whatever the situation is going to be, I need to get healthy."

With Pryor as the starter, the Raiders are 3-5 this season. Pryor has a 58.9 percent completion rate, throwing for 1,559 yards with five touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for two touchdowns, including a 93-yard run on Oct. 27 in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
