Rafael Soriano: Turning Down $14M Option with Yanks
Update: Soriano will opt out of his $14 million player option with the Yankees on Wednesday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.

Recommendation: Reports are indicating that Soriano believes he can land a four-year deal, which may not be entirely unrealistic after the three-year, $22.5 million pact Brandon League received from the Dodgers on Tuesday. Soriano racked up 42 saves for the Yankees last season and turning 33 in December, agent Scott Boras is likely viewing this opportunity as the final one to land Soriano a large multi-year deal.
