Quagliarella 'perfectly relaxed' about Juventus striker rotation
Fabio Quagliarella has insisted that he is "perfectly relaxed" about his future at Juventus following Saturday's 2-1 victory over Inter Milan in the Derby d'Italia.

The former Napoli and Sampdoria striker has frequently been linked with moves away from Turin due to a lack of first-team opportunities and a reportedly strained relationship with coach Antonio Conte. He most recently found the back of the net against the Nerazzurri in a rare start for the Old Lady, though, and the 30-year-old explained that he and his fellow attackers are happy to wait for their chances.

"The coach has been rotating the strikers for two years now, so we’re all perfectly relaxed about it," Quagliarella said after the match. "Nobody moans when they’re not involved. The most important thing is to ensure you’re ready when your time comes to play."

Quagliarella then reflected on his early strike at the Giuseppe Meazza, but while he basked in his glory, he also dedicated the finish to other Juve squad members who were not involved against Inter.

"I’d put the goal down to instinct. I stopped, saw that I was free and kicked the ball towards goal. I’m very happy because it’s always good to find the breakthrough in a game against a great team," Quagliarella said. "I hugged [Nicolas] Anelka because he asked me to do so in the dressing room. It’s also nice to remember
those who are on the bench in spite of all the work done during the week."
