Price, Lehtonen, Iginla named 'Three Stars'

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, Dallas Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen and Boston Bruins right wing Jarome Iginla were named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week.

Price led all goaltenders with three wins in three starts, posting a 1.00 goals-against average, .971 save percentage and one shutout. He began the week by stopping all 27 shots he faced in recording his fourth shutout of the season and the 23rd of his NHL career in a 2-0 victory over the Calgary Flames last Tuesday. Price then made 42 saves, his second-highest total of the season, in a 5-2 triumph over the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday and 31 saves in a 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday.

Lehtonen went 2-0-1 with a 1.32 goals-against average and .947 save percentage. He made 27 saves in a 3-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes last Tuesday. Lehtonen then recorded 19 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday. He capped the week by making 26 saves in a 2-1 win over Phoenix on Saturday.

Iginla had two goals and three assists and a plus-5 rating. He had a goal and an assist, including his third game-winning goal of the season, in a 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks last Tuesday. After collecting an assist in a 3-2 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues on Thursday, Iginla had a goal and an assist, his 10th multi-point game of the season, in a 7-2 triumph over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
