President Obama To Make Final ‘The Daily Show’ Appearance As President Next Week
With just over a month to go before he hands the keys to the executive mansion off to Donald Trump, Barack Obama will be making his last appearance as President on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah for a lengthy interview taking place at The White House. The interview will air Monday, December 12 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and be simulcast on MTV and BET. The appearance marks Obama’s first on The Daily Show since Trevor Noah took over as host in 2015.
President Obama was a somewhat frequent guest on The Daily Show under previous host Jon Stewart, making seven appearances starting in 2005 after his election to the Senate and most recently just before Stewart’s final show last year.
Noah has previously interviewed former President Bill Clinton, and Republican presidential candidates Ben Carson, Lindsay Graham, Senator Rand Paul, and Governor Chris Christie.
