PFA Young Player of the Year nominee Romelu Lukaku will be competing with Shane Long for a starting berth up front.

Newcastle has a number of injury problems with Tim Krul (shoulder), Davide Santon (hamstring), and Fabricio Coloccini (back) all miss out. Ryan Taylor and Haris Vuckic (knee ligaments) remain on the sidelines, with the former now expected to miss the whole of next season as well.
