Prandelli recalls Marchetti to Italy squad to face Netherlands

Italy head coach Cesare Prandelli has named his squad to face Netherlands, and the recall of Federico Marchetti is among the most notable inclusions.

The Lazio goalkeeper has not been involved in the Azzurri setup since 2010, but has been in fine form this season which has earned himself a spot in the team.

There are six Juventus players named by Prandelli, while AC Milan has five stars involved in the squad, including new signing Mario Balotelli.

Only three Italians who play outside the country have been chosen for the team to face the Dutch: Newcastle United fullback Davide Santon and Paris Saint-Germain pair Salvatore Sirigu and Marco Verratti.

The likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Christian Maggio and Federico Balzaretti have missed out on the squad due to injury.
