Jerricho Cotchery had a big day for New England Patriots, but it wasn't enough to avoid a bad loss for the Steelers against the Patriots, 55-31, in Foxborough.
Ben Roethlisberger had a stellar game with four touchdowns on 28 of 48 passing for 400 yards, two picks and one fumble. Tom Brady was just as hot for the Patriots, and finished 23 for 33 with 432 yards passing, four touchdowns and no interceptions.
Le'Veon Bell was a bright spot for the Steelers, running for 74 yards on 16 carries in addition to four receptions for 65 yards. Cotchery was a top performer, snagging seven balls for 96 yards with three touchdowns.
The Pittsburgh defense fell apart, giving up 432 yards passing and 197 rushing. They sacked Brady three times.
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was impressive, churning out 143 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Aaron Dobson also put together a noteworthy performance with 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Next week, the Steelers host the Bills (3-6) while the Patriots head to Charlotte to face the Panthers (5-3).
