Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Ben Revere will have surgery on his broken right foot on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined 6-8 weeks, the team announced Monday. Revere was injured on Saturday, when he hit a foul ball off his foot. Revere is hitting .305 with no homers and 22 stolen bases this season. He struggled at the start of the season but hit .347 in 65 games since May. However, now he is in danger of missing the rest of the season. According to multiple reports, the Phillies are investigating the possibility of acquiring another center fielder to take Revere's place.
