Peyton Manning will support six teams in first year of retirement
Former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning deserves a great first year of retirement. The greatest quarterback to ever live is the all-time leader in touchdowns and passing yards. The five-time MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion completely changed the landscape of the NFL with his pure pocket poise and passing.
While we fans happily enjoy seeing him embrace the offseason, Peyton Manning has already made headlines by telling the fans about the six teams he’ll be cheering for. More from NFL.com’s Conor Orr:
At the Manning passing academy, Peyton said he’d be rooting for Broncos, Colts, Giants, Texans, Dolphins and Lions this season. Just an FYI.

The Broncos and Colts make sense, as he dominated with both franchises and guided them to Super Bowls. The Giants are also obvious because of his brother, Eli. The Texans aren’t a shock because they now have Brock Osweiler.

As for Miami and Detroit? Adam Gase was his offensive coordinator in Denver and Jim Caldwell was his head coach in Indianapolis for two seasons.
Wait a second. The Dolphins did a huge favor for The Sheriff by defeating the New England Patriots In Week 17 of last season. Without that, Denver wouldn’t have had home advantage against their arch rivals in the AFC Championship. And yeah, that home crowd played a huge difference.
No shock that Peyton Manning didn’t list the Patriots as one of them. Let’s see if one of his six teams pleases him in his first year of retirement.
