Peyton Manning, Jerrell Freeman earn AFC honors

Quarterback Peyton Manning was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for four touchdowns in Denver's win over Houston.

Manning threw two touchdowns to Eric Decker, one to Demaryius Thomas and one to Julius Thomas. The touchdown to Julius Thomas in the fourth quarter gave Manning his 51st touchdown this season, an NFL record that surpassed Tom Brady's 50 in 2007.

Manning also ranks third on the single-season touchdown list as he threw 49 scores in 2004.

Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Indianapolis' win over Kansas City.

Against the Chiefs, Freeman had seven tackles, one sack, two interceptions, one forced fumble and three pass deflections.

Freeman leads the Colts in tackles with 159.
