Penguins' Neal out with upper-body injury

Pittsburgh Penguins forward James Neal is being listed as week-to-week after suffering an upper-body injury that makes it uncertain when he will return, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

He left Thursday's game for what was then described as precautionary reasons.

But now he is sidelined, and, according to the Post-Gazette report, coach Dan Bylsma could not offer a timetable on his possible return.

The Penguins are loaded with scoring talent, but Neal, 26, was one of their biggest threats. He had 21 goals and 15 assists in 40 games last season and had 40 goals and 41 assists in 80 games in 2011-2012 for the Penguins.
