Paul Millsap put up 20 points on 8-14 shooting from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line. Other top contributors for Atlanta included Lou Williams with 18 points and 5 assists, and DeMarre Carroll with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Brandon Knight had another strong performance for Milwaukee despite the loss, scoring 27 points on 11-15 shooting, including 5-7 from behind the arc. John Henson chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Along with their eFG% of 61.2%, the Hawks connected at a rate of 50.0% from 3-point range. On the season, they are 4-2 when they record marks above 55% and 40% in those respective categories. Conversely, the Bucks are winless (0-7) when allowing their opponents to reach those percentages.
Milwaukee (8-35) has now dropped consecutive games after losing to Cleveland on Friday.
