Update: Konerko (concussion) was reinstated from the disabled list Friday, the White Sox's official Twitter page reports.
Recommendation: Konerko has been out since Aug. 8 with what was described as a "mild" concussion, but it looks like he'll return to the lineup to take on Royals right-hander Luis Mendoza on Friday.
