Pau Gasol: Out For Two-Game Road Trip With Concussion

Update: Gasol was diagnosed with a concussion and will not travel with the team during their two-game road swing, the Lakers' official Twitter account reports.

Recommendation: Gasol left Sunday's game after taking an elbow to the face, resulting in a concussion that will sideline him during the two-game road trip. While the Lakers hope to have him back for Friday's home tilt against Oklahoma City, there's no guarantee he'll pass the NBA's concussion protocol in time to play. With Gasol, Dwight Howard (shoulder) and Jordan Hill (hip) all out for the next two games, the Lakers will likely turn to Robert Sacre, Earl Clark, Antawn Jamison and Devin Ebanks to handle big minutes on the frontline.
