Pau Gasol finished with 20 points and registered 10 rebounds, his 8th double-double of the season, to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a victory over the Sacramento Kings, 100-86. This is the 3rd straight victory for Los Angeles (7-7).
Gasol went 8-16 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line. Jordan Hill also chipped in for Los Angeles, finishing with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Despite the loss, Greivis Vasquez put up 20 points for Sacramento on 9-18 shooting, including 2-6 from behind the arc. He also tallied 7 assists. DeMarcus Cousins added 17 points and 8 rebounds.
Sacramento (4-9) has now lost back-to-back games after falling to Los Angeles on Saturday.
Coming up, the Lakers take on the Washington Wizards, who are 5-8 on the season. The Kings match up against the Los Angeles Clippers, currently sitting at 10-5 this year. The Kings have fallen to Los Angeles the last 2 times they have met.
