Pau Gasol: (Foot) Sheds Crutches

Rotowire.com
Update: Gasol underwent an ultrasound on his injured foot Tuesday, and after getting rid of his crutches, he's now cleared to work out on Precor machines.

Recommendation: Just three weeks ago, Gasol partially tore his right plantar fascia, but now he is able to use all manner of elliptical machines, treadmills, and stationary bikes as he embarks on the final 3-to-5 weeks of his recovery. His timetable for a return has not changed, so the earliest we'll see Gasol back in action is late March. However, he may take even longer to reach 100 percent health, meaning Earl Clark should continue to start at the four for the remainder of the season.
